THIS SUNDIAL IS HIGH UP ON A HOUSE ON GANSEY PROMENADE
TEMPUS FUGIT TRANSLATES TO "TIME FLIES"
ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT THE TEXT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DIAL MEANS?
My grateful thanks to Mr Tom Hanley who lives in Ireland and studies Manx Language
Tom has translated the wording at the bottom of the sundial to read
"OUR DAYS ON EARTH ARE LIKE A SHADOW"
