Comment: My Great Grandfather, Captain George Burrows, had a Market Garden and a coalyard in Parliament Street, Ramsey and he lived in Rose Cottage. He employed 'The Manx Giant' and he had the hands made which he put on the gateposts. He also gave some items to the Manx Museum in Douglas.

Comment: Hi. Just happened across your site whilst searching out info about Kirk Braddan. Fantastic photo's thankyou. The best collection of photos i have found. My Mum was Manx so lots of memories of childhood holidays. Sadly she has recently passed away and we have the painful task of returning her to her beloved "Ellan Vannin" next week, to rest in peace. Niarbyl and "down south" were her favourite places. Keep taking your pictures and i will keep logging in. Thank you.

Comment: Just logged in to your web page and as we have visited 'the island' annually since 1989 (mainly for the MGP) its great to see your super photos. We can't get enough of the place and all its fabulous heritage and scenery. Each year we find new places we've never been to before and as we are on a motorbike it's sometimes alot easier to get to the more unaccessible places. We look forward to logging on again soon.
