I lived on the island for 5 years and have been left for 3 years and still miss living there. I have family who live in Ramsey and my grandfather was born in Douglas. He moved to liverpool in the 1930's.
I like to look at the pictures which bring back so many wonderful memories for me. Keep them coming.

Comment: Yes Sir, small world. Here in Texas, I speak of the Isle of Man to anyone who will listen, and since I found this web site, I share it also. It is amazing to me that I find 2 or 3 people each year that have visited the BEAUTIFUL Isle of Man (mostly for TT Races). My mother, Ida Killey, was born in Douglas and immigrated with her parents, brothers and sisters to the United States in early 1918 on the Carpathia. I was showing my grandson the Isle Of Man coat of arms and happened onto your web site. What a small world.
